I arrived at St. Agnes in the fall of 2009.

I am a School Sister of Notre Dame and have served the Church in many capacities. For forty years I was a part of the Catholic School system educating Children, being a principal, and the last twenty years being an elementary school counselor where I was very much privileged to wok not only with children but families as well. I served in various places from California, to Nebraska, to Illinois and Missouri.

It was time for my ministry to take a turn and I found the wonderful city of Springfield to continue this service in the Church. As office manager I try to meet the needs of people who come to the Office by directing them to the right places. There is a dedicated group of office volunteers and the mail crew who are devoted to the parish with whom I interact.  Scheduling of rooms in the buildings, the gym and the ball fields are also a part of my ministry.  My ministry makes me available for whatever comes my way. Recently I have included Baptism classes for parents.  Relating to people makes all of my life enjoyable.

Along with being the office manager here at St. Agnes, I minister at St. Elizabeth Ann Parish as a pastoral care minister to the homebound, nursing home folks and the hospitalized.
